ACT II · The Filmography

Since 2020 we have backed, invested, and appeared in Kannada features; often without taking the loudest credit in the room. Each film taught us something we brought to the next.

The Story

From Page to Screen

Tejus Publications began with books before it moved into cinema. The medium changed. The idea didn't:

Publish stories worth finding.

  1. 2012

    Publishing

A collection of Kannada poems written during the author's engineering days. Tejus Publications was created — as a proprietorship — for one purpose: to publish this book. The films came later. The name stayed.

  2. Cinema

    Film

A film, like a book, isn't manufactured. It's published put into the world, and left to find its readers.

  3. Today

    Film + Audience + Marketing

Production, audience development and marketing, so every film is built to be found, not just made.

ACT III · The Approach

We run a film the way you'd run a product: instrumented, scheduled, and built around the audience from the first day of pre-production.

  1. The audience comes before the release

The oxygen a film needs: its community, its audience and data; are built while the film is still being made, not after it's cut. So a film opens to an audience that already knows it exists.

  2. Built and run in-house

Our film's web presence, the tools behind it and the audience work we do are handled in-house, day to day; we run film the way a tech startup would run a product line.

  3. Marketing is a discipline

Theatrical, digital, brand and festival strategy are worked in parallel with the edit; part of filmmaking, not an afterthought handed off at the end.

The next story could be yours.
